What is Card Access system?

A card access system is a type of physical security system that controls entry to buildings or areas using access cards. These cards, often containing a magnetic stripe, barcode, or RFID chip, are read by a card reader which then grants or denies access based on pre-programmed permissions. They are commonly used for building security, time and attendance tracking, and managing access to sensitive areas.
