What is BMRAM?
BMRAM, or Burst Mode RAM, is a type of dynamic RAM (DRAM) designed for high-speed data transfer in burst mode. In burst mode, after an initial address is provided, the memory can sequentially access multiple memory locations without needing to supply additional addresses. This is faster than standard DRAM, as it reduces the overhead associated with providing addresses for each individual data access. BMRAM was commonly used in graphics cards and other applications requiring high bandwidth and low latency data access.
