What is BADI’s?
BADI's (Business Add-Ins) are an enhancement technology within the SAP environment. They are used to add custom logic to standard SAP functionality without directly modifying the standard code. BADIs offer a more structured and upgrade-safe way to implement enhancements compared to older technologies like user exits. They utilize object-oriented programming principles and consist of an interface definition and one or more implementing classes. When the SAP system processes code that includes a BADI call, it checks if any active implementations exist for that BADI. If so, the code within the implemented class is executed, allowing for custom modifications to the standard behavior.
