What is Azure NSG?

Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs) are used to filter network traffic to and from Azure resources in an Azure virtual network. An NSG contains security rules that allow or deny network traffic to or from virtual machines (VMs), subnets, and network interfaces. They provide a fundamental layer of network security, allowing you to control traffic flow based on source and destination IP address, port, and protocol.
