What is Azure M365?

Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) are distinct but often used together. Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is a suite of productivity and collaboration applications and services like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. It is commonly used by businesses and individuals for document creation, email, communication, and file storage. While M365 itself is not hosted on Azure, it integrates with Azure Active Directory for identity management and can leverage other Azure services for advanced features and functionalities. Azure is a cloud computing platform and infrastructure. Therefore, there is no such thing as 'Azure M365'; M365 utilizes Azure AD, and one could technically host aspects of M365 infrastructure on Azure VMs, but the term itself is incorrect.
