What is Azure KeyVault?

Azure Key Vault is a cloud service for securely storing and accessing secrets. A 'secret' is anything you want to tightly control access to, such as API keys, passwords, certificates, or cryptographic keys. Key Vault allows you to centrally manage these secrets, enabling you to control access policies and audit secret usage. It is commonly used to manage application secrets, database connection strings, and encryption keys, reducing the risk of accidental exposure.
