What is Azure Gov?

Microsoft Azure Government is a separate instance of the Microsoft Azure cloud platform designed to meet the demanding compliance and security needs of U.S. federal, state, and local government entities, as well as their solution providers. It provides access to a wide range of cloud services, including compute, storage, databases, and networking, all within a physically and logically isolated environment. Azure Government is commonly used to host sensitive data and mission-critical applications that require stringent security and regulatory compliance, such as FedRAMP High, DoD IL4/IL5, and CJIS.
