What is Azure Firewall?

Azure Firewall is a managed, cloud-based network security service that protects your Azure Virtual Network resources. It's a fully stateful firewall as a service with built-in high availability and unrestricted cloud scalability. It provides threat protection for your cloud workloads, filtering traffic based on various criteria, including source and destination IP addresses, ports, and protocols. It's commonly used to centrally manage and log all traffic traversing your network, enforce application rules and network rules, and protect against malicious traffic.
