What is AWS Cognito?

AWS Cognito is a fully managed service that provides authentication, authorization, and user management for your web and mobile apps. It allows users to sign in directly with a username and password, or through third parties such as Facebook, Google, and Amazon. Cognito also provides features like multi-factor authentication, adaptive authentication (to detect unusual sign-in activity), and user data synchronization across devices.
