What is AutoIT?

AutoIt is a freeware BASIC-like scripting language designed for automating tasks in Windows environments. It simulates keystrokes, mouse movements, and window manipulation to automate repetitive tasks, install software, and perform system administration. It's often used for creating custom utilities, automating software deployments, and testing applications. While legitimate, its ease of use has also made it a tool for creating malware, so it's sometimes viewed with suspicion.
