What is ARMS?

ARM architecture (now generally referred to as Arm) is a family of reduced instruction set computing (RISC) architectures for computer processors, configured for various environments. Arm processors are widely used in consumer electronics such as smartphones, tablets, and embedded systems due to their low power consumption and reasonable performance. ARM architecture is licensed to other companies who design and manufacture their own chips based on the ARM design.
