What is API-led architecture?

API-led architecture is an approach to designing and implementing IT systems where APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) are the primary way different components and services communicate with each other. It's commonly used to build more flexible, scalable, and agile systems by exposing business capabilities as reusable APIs. This promotes easier integration between different systems, applications, and data sources, both within and outside an organization. By exposing reusable APIs it helps to reduce point to point integrations as well.
