What is Alien Vault?

AlienVault, now known as AT&T Cybersecurity, provided a unified security management platform called USM (Unified Security Management). It integrated essential security tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), intrusion detection, vulnerability assessment, asset discovery, and threat intelligence. It was commonly used by small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to detect and respond to security threats effectively by correlating security events and providing actionable insights.
