What is AHRI?

AHRI's primary role is to certify the performance of HVACR equipment, ensuring that products perform as claimed. This certification helps consumers and contractors choose energy-efficient and reliable equipment, and ensures fair competition among manufacturers. AHRI also develops industry standards for HVACR equipment.
