What is Aerospace?

Aerospace is the field concerned with the design, development, testing, and production of aircraft, spacecraft, and related systems. It encompasses aeronautical engineering (dealing with flight within Earth's atmosphere) and astronautical engineering (dealing with flight in outer space). Aerospace technology is used in a wide variety of applications, including air transportation, satellite communications, space exploration, and national defense.
