What is ADAPT?

ADAPT is a technology developed by the US military's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It stands for Automated Dynamic Adaptation Planning Tool. It's a system designed to rapidly create and evaluate courses of action (COAs) in complex, dynamic situations. The aim is to provide military planners with the ability to quickly generate multiple feasible options and assess their potential outcomes, allowing for better and faster decision-making in response to changing battlefield conditions. It leverages AI and automation to accelerate the planning process.
