What is AARO?

AARO most likely refers to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, a component of the U.S. Department of Defense established to synchronize efforts across the department and the federal government to detect, identify and attribute unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), formerly known as unidentified flying objects (UFOs), in the air, on land, at sea, and in space. It analyzes UAP events to assess threats to U.S. national security and enhance safety.
